Good Hungarian food at fair prices. Nice ambience with a great flair. Again any time.

Absolutely not recommended. The waitress was not long in coming, but that was it. After taking the first order, including food, you had to literally beg that she would stop with us. And as if that weren't enough to feed 5 people at the same time is more than difficult. We all received our food in different ways, eating together was nil and one was left empty-handed. After we asked twice and there was still no food and the third time we asked we still had to wait 10 minutes (i.e. 60 minutes), we paid. And even that went wrong because the waitress cheated us for about 30 euros. The food has nothing to do with Hungarian cuisine. Just seasoning with garlic is not enough. There is one star for the outdoor area but you won't see us there again.

It's never worse ... This recommended restaurant corresponded to the Hungarian ambience. That gave great hope to the food. Unfortunately the food we ordered was so bad that we cannot recommend it. All dishes prepared tastelessly and lovelessly. E.g. - Juicy young bull steak with fried potatoes and vegetables was a thin, tough slice of meat with boiled potatoes and tasteless vegetables, we let it go back. - "Kettle goulash" was stretched out for non-tasting meat scraps with spaetzle (do spaetzle belong in kettle goulash?) - "Pancakes filled with curd cheese, whipped cream and fruit" was thick, uncooked pancake batter with curd cheese, which tasted sour, the whipped cream collapsed and tasted of rancid butter and a hard apricot (I let it stand). If you value good food, don't go there!

Legendary delicious food ... the cucumber salad is a must have !!! ... and the kettle goulash and the chicken goulash are second to none ... and the rustic, comfortable, rustic-looking location makes every visit an all-round successful, beautiful evening ...

A great experience. Large and varied selection. In the summer months it is especially nice in the garden, a little moment of vacation. The service is always friendly and courteous. It's a shame that you can't pay with a card, that would have to be improved.

Cozy, personal, Hungarian and German hearty cuisine.

A restaurant with really good cuisine. We were there for a nice dinner during the week. The food was super tasty and served quickly! Very friendly service. Rustic ambience and everything nice and clean. I am going back there. The choice of food is also not common.

Praise is what sharpens! And a goulash that is really spicy can be obtained here. We ate very well during our stay in Burgstädt. The innkeepers are very friendly and the dishes we ordered were really good. The atmosphere was rather middle-class, just a down-to-earth restaurant that doesn't want to seem more than it actually is, you can only love that.

We have been there within a quarter of a year and think it is getting better and better. Very delicious! Hopefully they will not fall victim to the "pub deaths".

Beautiful Hungarian Csarda. A little garlic on the food, but quite authentic. In summer, only the garden is open.
